You are a theologian: An Invitation to Know and Love God Well
Beginning Thursday, September 10th at 10:00 AM | Fellowship Hall
Theology can be intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be. Whether conversations about theology have felt out of reach, over your head, or irrelevant, consider this book an invitation to the dialogue.
The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, a never-ending pursuit, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself. Authors Jen Wilkin and J. T. English invite you to become not merely a consumer of theology, but a contributor to the conversation, and to grow in faithfulness to the Great Commission’s call to make disciples.
Please note: Each lady will need to provide her own book for the study. If the cost of the book would prevent you from participating, please contact the church office. We would be happy to help so that cost does not keep anyone from joining us. If you have any questions, reach out to the church office.

Titus Ten: Foundations for godly manhood
Beginning Thursday September 24th | 7:00 AM
Taking ten qualities from the Apostle Paul's short letter to his mentee Titus, The Titus Ten will help you grow in your understanding of the gospel, your identity, your character, your doctrine, and more. Each chapter includes questions for reflection and discussion, to both process the way the Lord is growing you, and read in a group with other men. As you grow in these areas of your life, you'll become the kind of man God desires to use in your family, your church, and the world.
*A word from Pastor Matt*
"Of all the books I've read on biblical manhood, the Titus Ten is my favorite. It's practical, deeply rooted in Scripture, and challenges us to think seriously about the kind of men God has called us to be. If you want to grow closer to Christ, represent Him more faithfully, become a stronger husband, father, and friend, and lean more fully into what God created you for --to know Christ and makeHim known-- I really want to encourage you to be part of this study.
We will work through the book together, talk honestly about where we're growing and where we still need to grow, encourage one another, and challenge one another to become men God has called us to be."
Each man will need to purchase his own book for $15. If the cost of the book would prevent you from participating, please contact the church office. We would be happy to help so that cost does not keep anyone from joining us. If you have any questions, reach out to the church office at 816-630-5121.

Parables of Jesus
Beginning Wednesday September 30th | 4:30 AM and 6:00 AM
This men’s Bible study will take a deeper look at the parables of Jesus while helping men grow in their ability to study, interpret, and communicate God’s Word.
Each week, the class will be given a parable to study ahead of time, and every man will come prepared to teach what he has discovered. No single person will be responsible for teaching the class. Instead, the hour will be a discussion where everyone contributes from his own study of the passage.
Pastor Matt will guide the conversation by asking thought-provoking questions, challenging the group to dig deeper, and introducing helpful research tools, historical context, and principles of biblical interpretation along the way.
The goal is bigger than simply learning the parables of Jesus. Through preparing each week and discussing the text together, men will learn how to observe Scripture carefully, ask better questions, research effectively, interpret faithfully, and confidently explain what they have discovered.
No advanced Bible knowledge is required—just a willingness to dig into Scripture, come prepared, and participate in the discussion.
